The Naturemill is raising the bar, providing the most advanced compost bin solutions for home owners. The Pet Friendly Naturemill Composter is yet another advancement, providing an electric compost bin that is specially tuned for pet waste providing a lower air flow and mixing than our other
composters. Thus, avoiding drying out or over processing the compost. It is
rugged enough for heavy use outdoors, all year round.
Pet waste not
recommended indoors.

tuned for pet waste: lower air flow, mixing, and heat than our other
compost bins, to avoid drying out or over processing the compost
- Kitty litter is acceptable, including clumping kitty litter ( provided that you
carefully review any safety precautions that come with the kitty litter) - Liquid pet waste (urine) can also be composted, if sufficient sawdust is
added to absorb the liquid, and to balance the green / brown ratio.

- Ideal for up to 2 large dogs, or 4 cats, rabbits, hamsters, snakes, ferrets, or other small animals

Capacity : 120 lbs (55 kg) organic waste per month. Add items any time, any day. Ideal for a family of 5, or a single individual living alone.
Recommended Temperatures : EXTERNAL: use in any location 0-120F (-18-50C)
INTERNAL: up to 140F (60C) reactor temperatures
Rate of compost production : One batch every 2 weeks, depending on actual usage. An indicator light signals when to remove compost.
Finished product : High nitrogen compost - a soil amendment for lawns, gardens, trees, or potted plants. Compost is ready to use.
Compaction : 70% or more, volume and weight reduction, due to bio-degrading (composting) and mechanical breakdown
Construction :
- External housing: recycled + recyclable polyethylene (stamped with the "5" triangle recycling symbol)
- Food-grade stainless steel and aluminum internal components
- Used properly, will last many, many years.
Installation :
No installation is required. Plug into a standard power outlet. For outdoor use, keep power supply dry. For installation inside a cabinet, we recommend our cabinet kit - some assembly required.

For a one year period after purchase: free replacement parts, repair by
