Bokashi Bran

Bokashi is a bran based material that has been prepared with EM (a mixed culture of naturally occurring friendly microorganisms). It is added as a compost activator. By placing alternating layers of food scraps and Bokashi Bran until the container is full, the food waste then ferments, allowing it to be safely composed.

The Bokashi Bran is a replacement item. This product is included when purchasing the Kitchen Compost Kit.
